Buergerplatz 10 85748 Garching b. München, Garching bei Munchen
Nano Sushi is a Japanese Restaurant, located in the center of the city Garching b. München. It provides not only authentic Japanese Sushi but also newly developed American Inside-out Rolls. Aside from Sushi it provides also other Japanese food such as Tempura, Teppanyaki, Udon/Soba, Donburi, Gyoza and so on.
With ramen noodles, the noodles were overcooked, the egg cold, the soup already cold halfway through. There would be no such thing in Japan. In addition, the soup is very overpriced for the quality. In Japan they cost half as much. I was eating in your restaurant and no take-away. It is unbelievable how your question this recension. I was there at 1:30, short before closing and the only guest. I didn't expext a statement. However, it seems you can not accept the truth.
The food was already ready to be picked up, you were greeted in a friendly manner and said goodbye. For the rather high prices the food is not really recommendable. The chicken with teriyaki sauce tasted rather bland, the sauce was extremely watery and the vegetables consisted of 80% steamed onions with a hint of carrot and 3 pieces of paprika. The other chicken with egg and mushrooms was also ok, but where the equivalent of just under 15 EUR is supposed to be, it is not clear. Just a few steps further, the Hong-Hong shows how you can get much tastier food with more flair at comparable prices.
Due to Corona, I can unfortunately only rate the food / sushi itself. Instead of ordering sushi from Lieferando in Garching as usual, this time I decided to pick it up at Nano Sushi. It costs a bit more there, but the rolls look a lot better and the ingredients also taste very, very good and fresh! The tuna maki were especially delicious.
Very tasty and fine food. Recommendable.
If you like Japanese cuisine, you should definitely stop by when you get the chance. Compared to other sushi restaurants we have visited in Munich, the food here is exceptional. You can tell that the quality is on a different level. The prices may be high for one or the other, but compared to other Japanese restaurants it is hardly more expensive, sometimes even cheaper!
It's delicious but the portions have become smaller and in the end the bill is high for what you eat. Unfortunately. The soups are smaller and so are the starters. My ramen had half a duck instead of a although I've always ordered it and knew what to expect. Therefor 15 € for a soup that has become smaller.
This inconspicuous restaurant is right in the center. The whole thing is more reminiscent of the typical to-go shops in the city. Very extensive map. Service ok. The sushi was very good, the ramen soup below average to not tasty. The beef bowl ... average. But the prices here are exorbitant. For the location, the ambience and the food, that's borderline outrageous.
Super tasty sushi. We love it and when we accidentally got edamame instead of the water spinach, they were so good that we will definitely order them next time.
I had given a one star review and left it at that, but the owner has just asked "what's your problem" which, as an english speaker, is quite an aggressive challenge. "I'm sorry we did not live up to our usual high standards. Perhaps you could explain what problems you had" might have been a better response? Anyway: here's why I gave it one star: I found the venue very cold (both unfriendly/unwelcoming and temperature (strong aircon blowing "cold" air in my face during winter)). The food was tasteless but, given how far from the sea the restaurant is, this might be expected? (The dishes are presumably pre-made, far away, and frozen and shipped out: perhaps not defrosted enough?) The was no music, but lots of noise from freezers, aircon, fridges, etc. Or was there two music sources? I don't recall now, as this is ten months later! I remember it was unpleasant. The venue had one other table, two customers together seating near the window, but i was lead round the corner and seated round the back, with a view directly into an open cupboard and the toilet/staff room/not sure what. I think, perhaps, they didn't have WiFi, and I was provided with the password to a neighbouring business' network. Finally, the key factor behind my single star rating: it was simply far too expensive, even if the food had any quality to it! I recall, at the time, I sat there wishing I had gone elsewhere.
I keep going back there. It tastes great and I'm very satisfied with the quality.
Simply incredibly tasty, every time anew. I absolutely recommend it, everything is (of course) freshly prepared on site. Once :)
Authentic traditional Japanese cuisine friendly and family atmosphere. In short, it was wonderful.
Very good Japanese restaurant. Not very cheap, but considering the quality, absolutely reasonable prices. We like to go to running sushi since we haven't been here because we now know what really good sushi is. Clear recommendation! The service is very friendly. Overall there is nothing to complain about.
Top restaurant !! Very delicious food, friendly service and a very nice couple who always tries to serve their guests. The offers are varied, taste good and have a decent price-performance ratio. The atmosphere and ambience is unique. I have been there several times since 10th 2019 and have not been disappointed so far.
My daughter said it tasted great! Everything is wonderful. The sauce of the Maultaschen is a plum sauce, delicious!
The best sushi I've had in Europe and by far the best in Munich. Very good selection of Japanese food including a large sushi selection. The sushi chef takes great pride in his artistic creations. Very flavourful and fresh. One thing to keep in mind is that the great food is a bit pricey (as it should be at this level) and they do not accept cards.
Small niche
A nice little restaurant
Had long chopsticks. Sushi and ramen was very good but I was mainly for size of the chopsticks. What can I say I'm a size queen 😘.
One of the best sushi in the Munich area. Great quality, try also the gyōzas and the mochi for dessert, well worth it! Pass on the tempura as it is nothing extraordinary.
Grate sushi, super friendly staff. High recommended.
Best Gyūdon, which I had so far in Greater Munich and great service! Although the waitress said it may take a while for me to order the dish for lunch and they need to re-prepare it, the food was there in a little over 10 minutes!
Perfect ramen, 1a sushi, all in the quality as I am used to from Japan. Only criticism: They do not accept card payment.
Fresh sushi, smiling owners, on time service, best Sushi in town
Sushi was okay. Quite expensive for what is on offer. Edamame is a cheek in terms of price and a ridiculously small portion of quality was also below average. The spring rolls consisted more of dough than of filling, so I've never had a little filling in spring rolls. We will not come back.
Good and tasty Ramen
Very tasty food, clean, the staff is kind
Nice sushi bar in the outskirts of Munich. Almost everything was perfect and very authentic during our visit. There is a star deduction for the frozen sashimi and the somewhat salted prices. But do not worry, we'll be back. Thank you for the great evening.
Good.... good soup... good tables... good chairs... good service!!!
Good sushi and other japanese food restaurant in garching. Service people are nice. The sushi is prepared for everybody visibly. The prices are more than fair for what you get.
Very good sushi. Will be fresh and crafted well. It's worth the wait. Gladly again!
Very good for a good price!
Long wait, but definitely worth it
Excellent! Great combo plates, incl. Nano Spicy.
I searched the Internet for a long time to find this Japanese food, and came to the squid rice. It was delicious and the udon noodles were good. The proprietress is Chinese, the exchange is convenient, the people are very friendly and recommended.
Quality at its best. The food is exceptionally good, specially given the relative good price. They also have a take away service, really nice and convenient. One of the best quality vs. price options in Garching.
ok
Freshly made, taste great
The place has very good food and extremally nice service. It might seem to be located a bit out of sight, but it is definitely worth going to. The sushi we've had so far were always tasty and fresh. Several lunches also worked out ok regarding also the amount of food. A larger party was also organised there without any issues.
Really good and authentic Japanese restaurant. The fish quality is really good!
Great sushi at good prices with very friendly staff. Cozy and clean atmosphere. I thought the main courses were not quite as good as the sushi, but my friends seemed to like their dishes a lot.
Very friendly, good variety of tasty food, not just Sushi, reasonable prices. Deserves more customers!
It's okay. Fish quality is great but price, variety and service can be improved. I do recommend going there, and have no complaints, just an observation :)
Delicious sushi. Friendly staff. Deserves more visits!
This is a very nice sushi restaurant. The sushi is very tasty and freshly made. If you don't like raw food you can have excellent udon and soba noodles. The people working there are extremely friendly and can speak both German and English. You'd better be hungry because the noodles portions are very, very large! Highly recommended!
Very delicious and fresh food. The owners were extremely friendly and served us fast.
